Spears School of Business is looking for a flexible and adaptable individual to fill a new position that will help us ensure continuity of operations when staff are unavailable.
The position will be based in the Spears Research and Financial Services office.
A core set of duties will include supporting the Accountant III as well as assisting with other financial activities such as entering data in Quickbooks, receipting and paying invoices in OKCorral, formatting and uploading reports.
A significant portion of the duties will include supporting Spears academic departments when department assistants are on FMLA or when those positions are vacant.
This assistance may include tasks such as onboarding student workers, graduate teaching/research assistants, or lecturers; reserving rooms; and initiating purchase requests or foundation vouchers.
In addition, the position will be responsible for reviewing all travel forms for completeness and accuracy prior to forwarding for approval.
It will instruct department assistants on travel policy and procedures.
While this position will be assigned office space in the RFS suite, it will at times be required to work in various other locations in the Spears School of Business.

Education & Experience Position Qualifications: Required Qualifications: High school/GED and at least three years of clerical/customer service experience.
Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience.
Candidate should have experience with: Excel OSU Banner systems including finance, HR, and student systems.
OSU forms such as travel, foundation, and payroll.
