Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Certified Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our team.
As our Assistant, you will provide crucial administrative support to our legal team and assist with various legal tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with legal administrative tasks, including drafting and proofreading legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Maintain and organize client files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and easily accessible
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court appearances for attorneys
- Prepare materials for court hearings, trials, and depositions
- Assist in the preparation of trial binders and exhibits
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional manner
- Perform general clerical duties such as answering phone calls, taking messages, and managing incoming/outgoing mail
Qualifications:
- Certification or degree in Legal Studies or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Proficient in legal research techniques and using online legal databases
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with litigation processes is a plus
