*Position Summary*
As the Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of regulatory compliance within Method and its entities.
You will ensure that our operations adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines set forth by the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA) and other governing bodies.
Your primary duties will include: Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations, Auditing, Monitoring, and Evaluating all Method entities for compliance issues.
Serving as the primary point of contact with regulatory agencies and assisting management in maintaining compliance throughout all aspects of the company.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities* The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: * Collect Compliance documents from ownership, manage renewals of all licenses and permits * Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal cannabis regulations * Conducting regular audits and inspections of our facilities to identify areas at risk of non-compliance * Maintain expert knowledge of Oklahoma laws and regulations surrounding cannabis * Serving as the primary point of contact with any regulatory agencies, testing labs and answering inquiries, and providing documentation as needed.
* Collaborating with all departments to ensure compliance throughout the entire production and sale process * Maintain accurate and up to date records and documentation of compliance activities * Use various software applications such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate, and/or format data and/or reports * Maintain highest level of confidentiality * Handle incoming and outgoing phone and electronic communications on behalf of Method * Organize meetings, schedules and databases * Exercise administrative judgment; assume responsibility for decisions, consequences, and results impacting staff, costs, and/or quality of service within the functional area * Perform other duties as assigned *Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)* * At least 3-5 years of experience in a compliance or regulatory role, preferably within the Oklahoma cannabis industry or a highly regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals or healthcare.
* Expert understanding of Oklahoma's cannabis laws and regulations * Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills * Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and equivalent google workspace products.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in business vocabularies * Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills * Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment * Must be licensed to work with Cannabis in the state of Oklahoma *Physical Demands and Work Environment * The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
