Net *is a local internet service provider bringing internet access to customers across the central Oklahoma region.
We are looking for a friendly, self-motivated Fiber Construction Manager with an outstanding work ethic and a desire to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
This position will manage the construction of PVN's Fiber Infrastructure and will include but not be limited to the following:
Essential Functions:
* Direct and supervise construction projects from conception through completion for 1 or more teams while monitoring compliance with safety and building regulations
* Coordinate purchasing of all materials, supplies, and equipment necessary for all projects
* Monitor project inventory to ensure stock is available for all projects and repairs
* Collaborate with engineering to determine the specifications of all projects
* Follow through all permitting and licensing requirements from authorities in a timely manner
* Budget needed resources (Labor, Materials, Equipment, Contractors, etc) from start to finish of all projects
* Evaluate progress and provide regular progress reports
* Plan all construction operations and phases to ensure deadlines will be met in a timely manner
* Coordinate all outages and repairs for PVN Fiber Infrastructure
* Training of new Fiber Technician Staff
* Management of all Fiber Team Staff
* Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications Include:
* Minimum of 4 years construction project management experience
* Knowledge of FTTH drop installation
* Experience with fiber construction safety standards
* Experience with fiber construction procedures
* Experience with Microsoft or Google Docs (IE: Excel, Word, etc)
* Experience with reading and understanding engineering drawings and GIS maps
* Written and verbal communication skills
* Organizational and time-management skills
* Experience with conflict and crisis management
* Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Working Conditions
* Must be able to traverse and inspect all project locations in any weather condition.
(This may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching)
* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
* May require travel
* Exposure to construction site hazards
* Must be on-call to address any outage, project, or other job issues that may arise
* Working both in an office and on job construction sites
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.
00 - $65,000.
