Execute ejection seat removal/installation and various maintenance tasks on military aircraft as a Contract Field Team technician Perform troubleshooting and operational checks Document maintenance actions in aircraft records to include digital maintenance data systems Travel for extended periods working at various locations Train on routing aircraft electrical wire harnesses, basic wire terminations and various other maintenance tasks Conduct installation of aerospace fasteners, rivets, nut plates etc.
Interpret technical manuals, work cards, blueprints, wire diagrams/schematics, and engineering drawings Maintain shop supplies and perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment Operate complicated shop tools and equipment as trained and assigned Perform inventory control using logging, tagging, and organizing procedures Maintain tool control and accountability Adhere to company policies and safety programs Other duties as assigned This position is contingent upon contract award.
Requirements Education/Training: High School diploma required Associate’s Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline preferred Aircrew Egress and Apprentice Course completion required MK16 Ejection Seat removal/installation on T-6 A/B/D preferred Ability to complete provided training for removal and installation of aircraft Ejection Seat and associated egress components Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in the required task area required Familiar with the installation of aerospace fasteners, rivets, nut plates etc.
Ability to interpret technical manuals, work cards, blueprints, wire diagrams/schematics, and engineering drawings Security: Must be a US citizen Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required Successful candidates must obtain minimum favorable Tier 1 personnel security investigation IAW Department of Defense Instruction 5200.
