*Field Scientist*
*Description:*
Whiterock Resources is a full-service environmental contractor specializing in site investigation, monitoring and, the installation, operation and maintenance of remediation systems and associated facilities.
We are looking for a qualified candidate to perform Field Scientist activities associated with environmental investigations and remediations.
*Requirements:*
* Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, prospective customers, staff, and regulatory or other government agencies.
* Take initiative, promote a positive team attitude, and execute projects with the highest degree of technical quality and creativity to support our stakeholders.
* Manage and coordinate multiple project assignments simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
* Perform all job functions with safety as a top priority.
* 70% field work with local travel and periodic non-local travel to and from jobsites.
* 8-12 Hour days and, ability to adapt promptly to changing work schedules and scopes.
* Able to complete outdoor work and manual labor in all seasons.
* Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and ability to obtain a CDL.
* Pass criminal background check, pre-employment and random drug screens.
* Proficient in basic computer skills (i.
e.
, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Experience with MW installation, soil classification, P&A, surveying, soil/groundwater/air sampling, calibration and operation of field instruments.
* Experience with AS/SVE/FP system installations/O&M and remedial injections.
* 40 Hour HAZWOPER, First Aid/CPR/AED, Forklift Certifications.
* OCC UST Remover License, or experience to obtain within 90 days.
* OWRB Driller license, or experience to obtain within 90 days
* 3-5 years environmental industry experience.
* Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Environmental Science.

Pay: $60,000.
