Job Description:
POSITION: Maintenance/Mechanical Technician
CAMPUS: Drumright Campus
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Maintaining, repairing, and some installation of Mechanical/HVAC systems, plumbing systems, electrical systems, machinery and equipment.
Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems with Mechanical/HVAC systems, plumbing systems and electrical systems.
Performing routine preventative maintenance and testing on equipment.
Following instructions and operation manuals for all Mechanical/HVAC, plumbing and electrical tasks.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Operations Coordinator
SKILLS REQUIRED: All areas of the mechanical trade and close attention to detail.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED.
Mechanical Journeyman License preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Minimum 3 to 5 years mechanical experience.
Field experience with HVAC units, plumbing, electrical knowledge, and experience in commercial/industrial settings.
Equipment repair, general maintenance, and operation of various equipment.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Ability to confer and work cooperatively with co-workers.
Must uphold the policies and procedures of the Central Tech Board of Education.
Must possess and maintain a valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
STARTING DATE: February 5, 2024
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Support Employee,12-month contract, Non-Certified/Non-Exempt
