Job Summary
We're looking for a dynamic Business Development Specialist to join our growing Nationwide Southwest team.
In this role, you'll be the engine that drives our growth, identifying and cultivating new business opportunities.
Your day-to-day tasks will include strategic planning, identifying potential clients, and closing new business deals.
You will approach new sales opportunities by understanding the needs of the client and presenting a tailored solution for them.
You will also maintain healthy and thriving relationships with existing Nationwide Southwest clients throughout the year.
Responsibilities
Prospect and generate new leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, and referrals.
Your job is to spot nuggets of potential growth.
Conduct in-depth research on potential clients and industries to identify key decision-makers and understand their pain points.
Schedule and conduct face-to-face meetings with prospects to showcase our products and services.
Deliver compelling sales presentations that highlight the value and benefits of our marketing solutions.
Stay up to date with industry trends and competitors to effectively position our offerings in the market.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a business development role and / or sales related field - Minimum 5 yrs.
experience.
Examples of meeting or exceeding sales targets and goals.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills (because in this role, communication is KEY)
The ability to flourish in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with Salesforce software and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
Self-motivated and results-driven – Must be a TEAM Player with the ability to also work independently.
Must be willing to travel up to 75% - required Overnight Hotels Stays in appropriate territory.
Convention Show Travel is required.
