Job Title: Home Health Aide
Duties:
- Provide personal care services to patients in their homes
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record patient vital signs
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Transport patients to appointments or outings as needed
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
Skills:
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy guidelines
- Ability to provide compassionate care and support to patients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
Please note that this position may require working in various settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or private residences.
The ability to adapt to different environments is essential.
If you have experience in systems, catheter care, or medication administration, it would be considered a plus.
Additionally, any experience in cooking or food preparation would be beneficial.
