Job Summary:
As the Facility Manager at Innovation Park, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our facilities, currently encompassing two distinct buildings, with growth forecasted soon.
The first building houses laboratories, where scientific exploration and innovation thrive.
The second building will host a supercomputer and data center, as well as office spaces that facilitate collaborative work.
Responsibilities:
Your multifaceted role includes overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of bio laboratories, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and standards.
Your responsibilities encompass not only laboratory management but also the coordination of day-to-day cleaning, upkeep, and maintenance of all facilities within the park.
You will optimize laboratory space and equipment, assist in equipment procurement, and provide essential project support to our researchers and scientists.
In the technology center, your responsibilities extend to the maintenance of the space that will house a supercomputer and data center, ensuring their smooth operation.
Additionally, you will manage the general upkeep of office spaces, ensuring a conducive environment for collaboration.
Previous experience with managing leasing and facilitating partnerships would be beneficial to this role.
Safety is paramount, and you will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining strict safety protocols and standards within the laboratories, conducting safety training, and inspections.
You will coordinate and oversee the cleaning, maintenance, and overall condition of both buildings.
Managing the facility budget, tracking costs, and efficient resource allocation will also be essential aspects of your role.
You will build and maintain vendor relationships, manage documentation, and stay abreast of regulatory compliance in bio laboratories and technology facilities.

Position Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Construction or Facilities Management, and possess at least 2 years of experience in facility management.
Experience with Microsoft Office products.
Ability to learn and use web-based programs.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Five or more years in Facility Management
Familiarity with Oklahoma State University Construction and Facility Management processes
Facility Management experience in a laboratory environment
