s (FES) engineers use advanced technologies to ensure that the systems we develop meet or exceed all contractual requirements, our customers stringent test, measurement, support and affordability requirements, driving FES to be the employer of choice year after year.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities: Serve as a liaison and lead FES in AS9100, ISO 9001 and all applicable third party/customer standards and FAR/DFARS operational compliance.
Serves as the FES Management Representative for ISO9001/AS9100 and coordinates all third party/customer Quality audits.
Assures contractual clauses are properly operationalized within engineering, manufacturing, and quality processes, and monitors changing regulations to assess operational impact.
Collaborates with FES team and customers as needed to ensure accurate, compliant, and reasonable contract terms are reached and followed.
Basic Qualifications: Must be a United States citizen or Permanent Resident of the United States (no sponsorship).
Background/Credit check required.
Must be able to pass Drug/Alcohol Test administered in accordance with applicable state and federal laws.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline, business administration, legal/compliance discipline, or related field or equivalent experience.
Related work experience required: 10 years of experience in Aerospace industry or Federal government contracting.
5 years of project management experience.
Detailed working knowledge of International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001/AS9100.
Knowledge of the FAR/DFARS.
Special skills or abilities required: Proficient in use of computer and software to include: MS Office; ability to gain proficiency in CostPoint and other relevant FES software systems.
