Responsibilities:
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and word processing.
- Provide support to to Town Clerk and Court Clerk.
- Process payments for utilities and citations.
- Prepare legal documents, including drafting and proofreading.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of court proceedings and case files.
- Assist with scheduling court appearances.
- Interact with clients and provide excellent customer service.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in office software applications, including word processing and data entry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role is preferred.
