00, Salary Work Schedule: M-F 8a-5p generally Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: Coordinate programming and related student engagement efforts in support of student success within the College of Education and Human Sciences as a part of the student and career development team; develop, deliver, refine, and/or maintain one or more college initiatives that contribute to students’ academic, personal and professional success as well as their retention, persistence, degree completion and first destination attainment.
Facilitate the successful implementation of individual and small group engagement interactions, support and guidance efforts and career development/readiness advising.
Provide relevant student success and career development coaching for incoming, continuing, and graduating College of Education and Human Sciences students.
Facilitate student access to support resources, involvement opportunities, and personal/professional/career development resources.
Collaborate with college staff and faculty as well as with university partners to enhance the reach and impact of student development, retention, career development and overall student success support efforts.
Serve as an effective team member within CEHS Academic Programs and Student Services.
Must be capable of transporting equipment and materials used in college-wide activities and special events.
Travel is required as necessary.
This may include out-of-state or in-state travel.
Additionally, it may be necessary to attend meetings and professional development conferences out of town.
Some evening and weekend events may be required to attend student organization meetings, events, workshops, and programs occurring as scheduled.

Education & Experience Position Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in education, human science, human services, health sciences, or a related field.
Two years of related experience in teaching, training, consulting, advising, counseling, customer service, public relations, or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and the general public in an education, training, consulting or advising role.
Outstanding interpersonal and professionalism skills.
Ability to deliver oral presentations and produce written communication effectively and professionally.
Must be proficient in application of commonly used office software products.
Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in counseling, college student development, human services, human resources, health sciences, or a related field.
Two or more years of work experience as student services and/or career development professional or in a similar/related position.
Prefer candidate with Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF), Certified Career Services Provider (CCSP), and/or Certified Master of Career Services (CMCS) credential.
Proficient at demonstrating effective advising skills for one-on-one student interactions.
Knowledge of student development and career development theory and practice.
Ability to deliver oral presentations and produce written communication effectively.
Proficient at development of accurate and appealing digital and printed materials.
Adept at data and information processing and in use of commonly used learning management software systems.
