Job Summary:
Campus Life’s mission is to enhance the student experience through intentional opportunities that promote belonging, engagement, and support.
Student connection and involvement on campus positively contribute to a student’s sense of belonging and their collegiate experience.
The Coordinator of Student Support Programs provides support and development on a micro and macro level including supporting students with particular lived experiences such as first-generation students, former foster youth, parenting students, system impacted students, and hidden populations.
Responsibilities include the development and implementation of a strategic plan to advance first-generation students, former foster youth, and other hidden populations’ access, transition, and success in college and beyond.
The coordinator provides oversight and management of a peer mentor program for first-generation students and advises a student organization.
Requires the ability to lift 25 pounds.

Education & Experience
Position Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Education, Social Work, or related degree.
Two years of related experience.
Established successful experience in managing projects and supervising employees.
Proven ability to work with diverse populations.
Ability to work independently, multi-task, and coordinate numerous detailed programs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations.
The proven ability to collaborate successfully with multiple departments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in College Student Development, Higher Education or related field.
Two-four years experience in student affairs
