TRUCK DRIVER TRAINING INSTRUCTOR

Location North Central Oklahoma - Ponca City and Enid Type Full-Time Categories Education & Training POSITION: Truck Driver Training Instructor CAMPUS: North Central Oklahoma Satellite – Ponca City and Enid PRIMARY FUNCTION: Assist with the daily operations of Transportation & Safety Education by being responsible for instruction, safety and other duties as required.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Director, Transportation & Safety Education SKILLS REQUIRED: Ability to counsel and instruct students in a professional manner and appearance; proficient in skills as they relate to operations of over-the-road, diesel-powered Class A commercial vehicles.
Must possess and maintain a valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
Must have the ability to travel and teach satellite classes.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Five years tractor-trailer over-the-road driving experience.
Knowledge of current state and federal regulations relating to the trucking industry.
Positive instructional experience preferred.
EDUCATION: HS diploma or G.
E.
D.
required, college degree preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Current Oklahoma Class A CDL STARTING DATE: February 14, 2024 TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Twelve-month contract -Certified/Exempt DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION: January 31, 2024 or until suitable candidate is found.
