Assist in management of the day-to-day operations of Oklahoma State University Department of Wellness facilities to include the Colvin Recreation Center, Seretean Wellness Center, Colvin Annex with an emphasis on providing a safe, well-maintained and proficiently staffed environment.
This position will provide supervision to include hiring, staffing, training, on-going development, discipline, and evaluation of the positions of Operation Attendants and Graduate Assistant of Operations.
Some evening and weekend work is required.
This position will require the ability to lift 25 pounds and occasionally more.

Position Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Leisure Studies, Recreation Management, or related field.
One year of related professional experience.
A two-year Graduate Assistantship will be considered as 1-year of full-time experience.
Required certifications include: CPR/AED/First Aid, CPR/AED/First Aid Instructor within 90 days of hire.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Recreation Management.
, Physical Ed, Leisure, Exercise Science, or related field.
Two to three years' experience in recreation center operations to include hiring, training, and supervision of students.
A completed two-year graduate assistantship in operations and/or aquatics in a campus recreation setting.
Two to three years of Operations experience in a supervisory environment.
Preferred certifications include: Registered Collegiate Recreational Sports Professional (RCRSP)
Experience with time and attendance software.
