Truck Driver

Objective Deliver products safely, on time, without shortages, and with the highest level of service and respect for our customers.
Summary Truck Drivers are compensated on performance.
Mileage and stop compensation as well as a bonus structure.
He/she is expected to fulfill all job requirements without daily direction.
Truck Drivers are generally home on weekends and should only expect to be at home at that time.
Description of the Broad Function and Scope of Position We are a team! Our success is directly dependent on our customers and without them, we do not exist.
Our team work, from sales to point of delivery is imperative.
Our job is to make the complete transition as safe and efficient as possible.
Duties Receive paperwork with instruction from Logistics/Shipping Manager Pre-trip inspection truck and trailer to ensure there are no defects or potential problems.
Inspect load to ensure all products are accounted for and secured on truck for transportation.
Leave with ample time to meet appointments safely and maintain compliance.
Participate in the off-loading process.
Help receivers remove products from trailer and agree that all products are accounted for Present paperwork and count off-loaded products to reach an agreement that all products are accounted for and receiver has signed off Re-strap/secure products on trailer before going to next customer and repeat steps 4-6.
When finished with final stop, driver contacts Logistics Manager for backhaul instructions.
If after hours, he/she finds the nearest rest haven (truck stop, etc.
) until next morning to receive instruction.
He/she then returns back to terminal, completes all necessary duties.
Perform post trip inspection of equipment.
Proficient use of ELD to maintain FMCSA compliance.
