*GOAL:*

As a Vehicle and Customer Service Specialist, this entails collaborating with our team to enrich the experiences of individuals with disabilities in our care.
The primary aims of this role involve facilitating maintenance request tracking and fleet management for our residential homes while also serving as a job coach for select individuals with disabilities.
Additionally, this position contributes to U-Haul Rentals, recycling routes, and vehicle detailing efforts.
*DUTIES:*
Responsible for managing day-to-day operations at Hammock, Motor City, and providing supervision to a small caseload of individuals with disabilities who assist in job duties.
*ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*:
*Vehicle, U-Haul, Recycling and Maintenance Management*
* Make reservations, finalize contracts, and hook up trailers for U-Haul customers
* Verify and renew insurance policies for all vehicles in the company
* Keep track of the location and status of all vehicles across four sites
* Assign GPS devices and pool vehicles to employees
* Schedule repairs for vehicles
* Detail vehicles
* Handle maintenance requests for homes and vocational sites
* Manage curbside pickup requests from residential and commercial customers to ensure timely and efficient service
*Customer and Client Services*
* Answer emails and phone calls from customers including but not limited to U-Haul, Insulation, and Recycling
* Use a separate phone line to communicate with Recycle Center customers
* Follow all safety practices and consistently operate in a manner that protects people and the environment
* Support people served to identify and achieve the personal outcomes important to them
* Interact with individuals in an emotionally supportive and therapeutic manner, and practice effective techniques for reinforcing appropriate individual behavior
* Ensure each person served is as independent as possible
* Must complete all employment training (online classes, MAT, MOPI, etc as they apply to specific jobs)

*Education & Experience*
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
* Experience in vehicle management and customer service
* Knowledge of Uhaul and Recycle Center policies and procedures
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software tools
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Attention to detail and quality
* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
* Customer-oriented attitude and passion for vehicles

Starting Pay: $12.
00 base but negotiable based on experience
