Job Summary:
Provides administrative/executive level support to the Office of the CIO.
This person requires an individual with an excellent customer service attitude.
A variety of duties are involved, such as to coordinate and manage the CIO’s calendar, schedule meetings and interviews within the department, and delegate and oversee work assignments for the office student staff.
Normal working hours from 8:00 a.
m.
to 5:00 p.
m.
The office is open throughout the day and lunch hours are staggered.
Requires the ability to lift 25 pounds.

Position Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School/GED
At least five years of responsible clerical and customer service experience in an administrative office.
Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience.
Excellent customer service attitude, collaborative work habits, and ability to be an active participant in a team environment.
Ability to deal effectively with people, even under stressful conditions.
Must have advanced computer skills including knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to handle a variety of assignments, some involving confidential information.
Ability to work and make decisions independently, to initiate/coordinate projects, and to follow projects to completion.
Excellent verbal/written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
At least 3 years of experience in an administrative office on the OSU campus, and general familiarity with OSU processes and accounting/travel procedures.
Completion of Leadership Development Program or comparable program.
