ASRC Federal Field Services is seeking an ECC Supervisor, in support of our Vance AFB Base Operations Support Contract located in Enid Oklahoma.
The ECC Supervisor is responsible for supervision of ECC personnel and emergency communication systems in a twenty-four hour, seven-days-per-week operation.
The ECC Supervisor is responsible for the efficient operation of the emergency communications system and other communications equipment.
Duties include reviewing work performance of ECC Operators to ensure quality of work, as well as monitoring dispatches made by and the intake of calls by ECC Operators.
The ECC Supervisor may assist in determining operating procedures consistent with departmental regulations.
Work is performed independently and administrative and technical supervision is received by the Fire Chief and/or Deputy Fire Chief.
Essential Functions:
* The ECC Supervisor generates and monitors reporting for the section.
* Prepares and controls work schedules for personnel assigned to a particular shift.
* Monitors and lends assistance on radio communications and determines that communications are properly and quickly transmitted.
* Supervises and participates in the training of ECC personnel in the proper performance of their duties.
* Conducts Quality Assurance audits.
* Responsible for the supervision of ECC personnel, to include but not limited to, hiring, disciplinary action, and/or performance evaluations for shift personnel, when necessary.
* Reviews and evaluates radio transmissions for investigative and training purposes.
Manages the deployment and use of all Backup Systems (Radio, Phone, CAD and Station Alerting).
* Performs other related work as required.
Requirements:
* Must be 18 years or older
* Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience or equivalent of High School Diploma, or equivalent, and 6 years experience as an ECC Operator
* Hazmat Awareness, Telecom I, and Telecom II certifications required
* Ability to obtain government contract required training upon hire
Preferred Requirements:
* Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations pertaining to public safety communications principles, practices, methods, techniques, and equipment experience is preferred
* Leadership, supervision, training, and/or performance evaluation experience
