39-24 Administration Assistant (Engineering): This employee performs a variety of highly responsible, confidential, and complex administrative and project support duties requiring considerable knowledge of department operations.
Coordinates the office activities of the Engineering Department including the monitoring of the department budget, monthly meetings and safety and training logs; develops and implements office work methods and procedures to maintain efficient office operations, also provides project assistance to the project managers, technicians and department leads.
This position reports directly to the Engineering Director.
Requirements: High school diploma/equivalent supplemented by specialized training in administrative support work.
Associate’s Degree in accounting or business administration is preferred, principles of business letter writing and basic report preparation, training and experience in computer software programs such as: Microsoft Word, MS Excel, Accounting Programs, etc.
, any combination of experience and training with a minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible assistance to a division or department head that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
Valid driver’s license (must obtain Oklahoma driver's license with 30 days of hire.

Starting Range: $17.
13- $18.
16 per hour DOQ plus comprehensive benefits package is available including health, dental, vision, life, and retirement.
