This position provides support for the 4-H Foundation Executive Director, the Director of Development, and works closely with the 4-H Foundation Accountant II.
Position requires a blend of clerical/office duties with financial responsibilities.
* Manage deposits, check requests, donor receipts, donor records, periodic billings and invoices for the 4-H Foundation.
* Provides support for the management of events, activities, and programs including the 4-H Enhancement Grants, Annual Appeal, Clover Classic Golf Tournament, 4-H Roundup, Honor Night Assembly, scholarship programs, and others as assigned.

Education & Experience
Position Qualifications:
Required: High School/GED
Five years of customer service and administrative assistance experience in a professional office.
Computer background with MS Suite, including Word, Excel, experience with Access or similar database.
Knowledge of financial recording keeping procedures.
Excellent people skills.
Ability to multi-task, yet pay attention to details.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree
Experience with non-profit Blackbaud database.
Would be beneficial to understand Cooperative Extension Service and county Extension 4-H youth programming.
Experience with non-profit organization(s).
Additionally, applicants having
2-3 years of professional accounting experience will be given strong consideration.
Proficiency with non-profit data base management software.
