We are looking for a Senior Accountant who has a diverse base of knowledge in accounting controls, business acumen and financial statement experience.
As a Senior accountant you will work alongside various stakeholders to support them and understand their needs while adhering to company policies, procedures and controls.
We want an individual who can assess a situation, evaluate the alternatives and recommend a solution.
DiaSorin continues to grow and we need someone to grow with it.
What you will be doing: Ensure adequate financial control exists over company assets, obligations and adherence to company procedures.
Address control weaknesses and respond appropriately to a changing business environment.
Initiate and maintain Standard Operating Procedures to address internal controls and continuity relative to the position Initiate monthly processes to the review variances, identify opportunities, determine the cause and effect, resolve reconciling items in a timely basis and promote process improvement to eliminate future issues.
Understand, analyze and take ownership of new and complex accounting issues.
Proactively partner with other departments to develop efficient processes and communication to accurately capture-monthly expenses and respond to inquiries Promote timely resolution of problems after research, weighing alternatives solutions and anticipate improving the process in the future.
Guide other staff by answering questions and share information accordingly.
Prioritize effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Communicate effectively within Finance and with other stakeholders.
Form partnerships with a wide variety of stakeholders to meet project goals.
