156-23 Administrative Assistant (Electric Distribution): Perform administrative and clerical duties for the divisions of the Stillwater Electric Utility (SEU).
Ensure policies, procedures, regulations are followed and required timelines are met.
Reconcile monthly division(s) purchasing card statements to ensure accuracy and completeness and submit statements to Finance by due date.
Perform purchasing and accounting functions.
Monitor expenditures in accounts, ensure accuracy in account coding and ensure timely payment of invoices.
Prepare budget revisions and amendments.
Work with division heads to ensure compliance with accounting procedures.
Create and develop file systems for SEU documents and maintain or oversee the maintenance of files.
Assist with the development and management of the assigned division’s annual budget.
Assign work activities and duties, monitor work flow and productivity, and assist with the work performance evaluation of part time and work study staff.
This position reports directly to an assigned electric department division head.
Requirements: Minimum of one year of experience performing administrative and office duties, developing and managing budgets and purchasing systems, and maintaining and tracking accounts with a financial management system.
High school diploma or GED, associate degree in accounting or business administration, is preferred.
Possession of an Oklahoma Notary License, within sixty days of hire.
Valid driver’s license, must obtain Oklahoma driver’s license within thirty days of hire.
Schedule: Four days a week, 10 hour shifts: 7:00am- 5:30pm Starting Rate: $17.
