*Position Overview:*
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our finance and accounting team as an Accountant 1.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing payables and receivables, balancing bank accounts, generating reports in Lightspeed, and maintaining accounting schedules.
Reporting directly to the centralized Senior Accountant and working closely with the General Manager, you will be the in-store leader for the department, contributing to the overall success and growth of Wilson Powersports.

*Responsibilities:*
* Oversee payables and receivables, balancing bank accounts, and maintaining accounting schedules.
* Generate reports in Lightspeed, providing crucial data for analysis by the General Manager and department managers.
* Collaborate closely with the Parts Manager, Service Manager, Sales Manager, Title Clerk, and Finance Director positions.
* Finalize major unit sales transactions and lead the accounting and finance washout processes.
* Manage, collect, and code as necessary Accounts Payable and Receivables.
* Balance and reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and third party payments.
* Support the General Manager with insightful reports to aid in business analysis.
* Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot Lightspeed and provide necessary data for decision-making.
*Qualifications:*
* Accounting degree preferred but not required.
Relevant experience and a willingness to learn and grow will be strongly considered.
* Experience with Lightspeed or other DMS is advantageous.
* Automotive or powersports experience is helpful but not mandatory.
* Ability to work collaboratively and perform tasks beyond the job's specific scope.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

*Compensation and Benefits:*
* Salary range: $48,000 to $60,000, based on experience and skill level.
* Dental, Health, and Vision coverage included.
* 3% company match towards retirement account.
