JOB SUMMARY:
The Clinics Administrator is responsible for implementation of Practice Operations Council (POC) and Network Operations Council (NOC) decisions and is accountable to the POC directly reporting to the assigned Assistant Administrator.
Working with the POC, the Clinics Administrator has full responsibility, authority, and accountability for the performance of the assigned practice/s.
Responsibilities of the Clinic Administrator include provider relations, communications, management of all non-provider staff (clinical matters will include direction from the provider/s), collaboration with Central Business Office to assure appropriate patient revenue management, Site-Specific Action Plans (SSAPs), physical plant, operations, education and training, supply management, etc.
Provides guidance and consultation to clinic managers and monitors clinical activities through a variety of reports.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, healthcare administration, or related field required – Master’s degree preferred.
Six years clinic experience; three years of supervisory or management experience in healthcare with 10 or more direct/indirect reports at multiple sites.
Knowledge of medical practice billing
Experience managing an inpatient or outpatient clinic.
Special ability to communicate with physicians, staff and general public, both verbally and in writing
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.
Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare reports and read written materials.
Demonstrates adequate stamina to deal with stressful situations and to complete the necessary work schedule
Possess fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to manage office equipment
Ability to drive daily between multiple locations as needed
