Craftsman Riding Mower Project

Craftsman lt1000 riding mower.
42" deck and 17.
5 briggs engine.
Needs a battery, valves need adjusted and carb cleaned.
Engine does turn by hand or jump but doesn't run.
It started in spring and now will not.
We got a new one months ago and this one just sets.
Trade for small trailer, 6 lug chevy rims, subs, air compressor, rechargeable tool set, hunting items, project camper, 17 inch 33-35" tires, equinox rims, boat / jet ski trailer or ?
